We pull inspiration from creative visionaries like Elon Musk and Steve Jobs and admire their ability to create opportunities for related and unrelated diversification.

At Aziumuth, we refer to it as “Three Dimensional Thinking”, which is based off a strategy concept commonly used in elite level, high stakes poker known as “Game Theory Optimal.”

Let me tell you a story…

A few years ago a company was formed with a mission to dig tunnel systems to solve traffic related problems by releasing the pressure created by road congestion, and enable straight line travel.

This company was created by a visionary that you may have heard of before…

Elon Musk.

Now, I’m not going to bore you with all the details, but if you take some time and research Elon’s story you will find that his overall goal in building his empire has been to first and foremost, find ways to change the world.

Obviously, he had been accomplishing that with SpaceX and Tesla, but this new venture would prove to be another fantastic opportunity for him to showcase his unparalleled out-of-the-box thinking skills and notch another mark on his legacy.

In 2016, The Boring Company was founded. (Moment of silence to appreciate the greatness in the company name alone………………………)

Within a few years, they had contracts to dig tunnel systems in various places throughout the United States. Very quickly though, the found a major problem that needed to be addressed.

What the **** were they gonna do with all that dirt?

With initial tunnel costs being estimated around $1 billion per mile, The Boring Co. had to come up with ways to lower the cost. One way was to repurpose the dirt.

With the help of a few of his SpaceX engineers, Elon came up with the idea to super compress the dirt to make bricks and pavers. Wow!

Not only does this reduce the cost of the tunnel construction, in some cases it can even pay for the entire thing. This is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, examples of unrelated diversification that I have ever seen.

And thus…

The inspiration for our company.

Sometimes, when you are the owner of a company, and you are in the thick of it, day in and day out, it becomes easy to lose track of the bigger picture. It becomes a game of survival rather than expansion. Your plate gets filled with a million different things and it becomes impossible to sort through them all, and you quickly find yourself treading water.

That’s where we come in…

We are the metaphorical “Mission Control” button you’ll find on a Mac. We help you pull everything on your desktop apart and build a strategy to wipe the slate clean and scale to the next level and beyond.
